I'm a techie. I touch computers and play with chemicals.
The source material is great. Have you seen? I've only read the first two books since they are the only ones with official English translations.

It's probably my favorite game of all time.

I don't think that, but I'm interested in how low you'd go on selling the 5070s.

web developers are getting too cocky. if visiting your `.png` URI doesn't give me the raw bytes of a png image and nothing else, your balls should explode

if you don't have balls, you grow balls that immediately explode

Ever since I told my old man about this Star Trek posting I've been doing, he's been spamming me with related articles on his Google News feed. Just about all of it is crap, but this was interesting: www.tvline.com/2035419/why-...
Why A Star Trek: The Next Generation Episode Was 'Banned' In The United Kingdom - TVLine
Star Trek episodes have caused controversy on occasion, as seen in this episode of The Next Generation that was specifically banned for U.K. audiences.

I thought Silo was interesting. Season 2 dragged but I think I wouldn't mind another. Got the source material to read.

I tried watching the expanse a few years ago but put it down. All the characters felt very emotionally unstable, and I wasn't a fan of that. Going to try picking it up again.

If a phone still works fine, it’s not “device hoarding” to keep using it. It’s common sense.

Sounds like a very Picard solution.

Only real criticism of Worf is that he's a pretty bad parent. Miles' list would be way longer.

Star Trek is always so relatable. I’m human and I also don’t have any money…

Not that weird, at least in the modern context. How else are you gonna share what friends are doing with other friends without a unique (unique enough) identifier?

Probably something Tom Paris said but the list ends there for me.

Strange that "gimme five" was seen poorly. Bad technobable is more worthy of criticism.

Lots of folks captioning aurora photos like "for a few minutes we didn't think about politics"

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation

I really like Star Trek: Below Decks S4E7 referencing the tired trope of 'red light robot = evil' and 'blue light robot' = good. "Come on, you can trust me. You're thinking of the old red light Agimus." Fun performance by Jeffrey Combs because it's always Jeffrey Combs.

I mean, Kira seemed pretty fine with the concept. Winn and the other extremist characters (but mostly Winn) are more like how you describe.

Certainly one of the weirder ways to send a message.
