Eh...personally I'd rather see a cross between Brawl's Subspace Emmisary and Melee's Adventure mode, with all the levels & enemies actually being from or based off Nintendo's games ( plus whatever 3rd parties they can throw in ) 🤷‍♂️

Just to clarify since I already to to do so once: fighters passes would and should be for the game in in general, not exclusively part of a Switch 2 edition/upgrade

Didn't say they should...just that another fighters pass should happen. Upgrade should just be for gamechat, visual upgrades and stuff like that. MAYBE a new World of Light map, like how Kirby & the Forgotten Land got a new story for the Switch 2 edition?
