The first time I remember realizing #voiceacting was a real thing was playing Putt Putt Saves The Zoo as a kid. The end credits showed pictures of the kids who played the animals, and when you clicked on them you'd get a voice clip. Real kids, my age, in front of real microphones! Real voices! Wow!

God, I feel so bad for on-location Target employees. I think I'll spare them being forced to stare and smile at me by continuing to never shop there again.

Learning new words is an adventure. I always look up a word I don't know, so upon spotting the word "cryptorchid" today my brain split it into "crypt-orchid" and I HAD to know. It's... an undescended testicle. Okay. Not as cool as I thought. No cemetery flowers here.

Pavlovian response is a wild thing. One of the steps in my vocal warmup starts "we're going to start by stretching by the throat, and the best way to do that is to yawn". And I've done this routine so many times that she goes "we're going to start—" and I can't help but yawn, not even on purpose.
