The fact that you now can't trust basically any form of media is one of the worst parts of AI.

if you analyze a discounted black friday products price changes throughout the year, it usually spends most of the year at that price OR LOWER.
its illegal to up the prices and then drop them (US), so companies simply change the sticker price and instead run sales on periodic intervals year round.
