I'm not a family counsellor, but I can't help wondering if there might be a relationship between someone's lack of contact with their offspring, and their apparent inability to conceive that it might be anything other than the child's fault.

Twenty years ago today I was with my gran, knowing she'd been given a matter of weeks to live and I might not see her again. I was also trying to follow the cricket, which was on in the adjacent room.

I switched to Tidal a couple of years back and recommend anyone else do the same. There aren't really any downsides.
No tech company is perfect, and the streaming crisis is bigger than Spotify. But there are other platforms that care about sound quality, have higher per-stream rates, and don’t seem to be daring music lovers to hate them every single week.
