certainly im aware of all that but i think this team specifically is a fun group so i trying to reckon with what is still possible for them

the bad news is i kinda think michigan is what it is this season, i think they are a top 10-12 but not top 5 team. the good news is that gets you hosting and a pretty clear path to one more shot at the big, season-defining upset in the elite 8 or perhaps if you get really lucky... lotta ball left

i think where i am with michigan women's basketball is that every year the ceiling gets a little higher and that makes brushing up against that ceiling all the more frustrating. theyre so close but still just can't put it all together at once, another resume littered with ifs, but still stronger.

it is both very frustrating and encouraging for the remainder of the season that Michigan almost certainly has played good enough defense to win this game

I’m not really sure how to fix it but the biggest hurdle to bsky as a serious sports app is the inability to quote post the play you want to talk about

ok so I learned within the last three days that “Michigan basketball player turned tiktokker Adrien Nunez” was now “rising country star Adrien Nunez” so as soon as the announcer was like “tonight’s halftime show is former Michigan basketball player” I knew who it was and I was so excited
