A little geology lesson from our fave YDL board member 💕
Kettle lakes to the north and west of Washtenaw county were formed when ice fell from the face of retreating glaciers, created depressions in the earth, and then filled them with melt water. A visible reminder that only 20,000 years ago Michigan was covered in a mile thick sheet of ice.

Another year in the books! 😉 You streamed constantly, borrowed creatively, and proved once again that libraries are about way more than books. Our patrons leaned into dark fiction, couldn't resist a good memoir, and kept the youth graphic novel game going strong.
