I remember a professor telling me once that “when you write action scenes, don’t be specific… Mostly because the reader will fill in all of the blanks with their imagination more clearly than you can ever describe.”

I know that isn’t fulfilling as a dancer, but it might save you some heartache .

A lot of people have the same thing with martial arts/fight scenes. It’s really hard to write the motions in a way that makes sense, but seeing them live is very obvious. XD
