Someone on Tumlbr was lauding Heated Rivalry for shooting 6 episodes in less than 40 days (compared to other shows releasing 8 episodes in 2 years) and as someone who's dad worked in film and TV for years, and who saw it degrade over time... I am *screaming* at someone thinking that should be

One thing I love about writing fanfiction is that, because you can assume that generally people reading will be familiar with the source media, you can put some really painful knife twists into things based on future events that are tough to pull off in original media.

In other news, mum is watching a house program hosted by the presentes my dad refers to as 'The Smugs', and I... I do not understand the appeal and obsession with open plan houses. Especially when that open plan includes the kitchen!

Part of why the social media bans piss me off so much is also because when I was that age, I was using forums, and they were a *lifeline* for me. Just heard a bit of the news about the UK discussing a social media ban for under 16s and just... they will try fucking *anything* except giving kids education in using the internet safely. All this will do is push kids into places that don't give a fuck and are more dangerous.

I just think that when there are mass layoffs and events like this, the people affected should be allowed to hunt the executives and shareholders for sport.
BREAKING: Ubisoft is canceling the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake and 5 other games (4 unannounced, 1 mobile). The company says it is also delaying 7 games (including an unannounced project believed to be a Black Flag remake) as part of a larger restructuring.

I am feeling ever more convinced that I made the right choice in never wanting children.
I love my nieces, it is a delight to see them... oh god I am so tired and I am not dealing with them most of the time. I am just going to be the best aunt that I can be.

The news about people losing their eyes to less lethal rounds is a good time to remind people to buy goggles if you are going to a protest. Look for ones with an impact-resistant rating of ANSI Z87+ High-velocity impact rating or ANSI Z87.1+ High-velocity impact rating. Ideally, rubber not foam seal

If your advert for your mobile game makes a big deal about being completely free to play, and with no annoying adverts, then I think that if I look at your game and find a single microtransaction or advert, even an optional one, I should be allowed to hunt you for sport.
