I recently learned that my dog has a benign tumor. This, along with utilities, supplies, and bills has forced me into a pretty tight predicament. So for the next four to six months, I will have 20 slots open with a quarter/half of the proceeds going into the savings goal.

One of the things I learnt doing perspective is to not fully follow the laws of anatomy and physics. Sometimes the body IRL looks weird, so use the rule of cool when drawing. As in, does this look anatomically correct, or does it look cool.

This doesn't ALWAYS work (like my Lucy beach one)

One thing I've learned from using real pics as reference:
Proper anatomy can still look weird depending on the angle.
As you can see, her entire left arm looks odd from this angle and pose.
That's why sometimes we need to "break" the anatomy a bit to make it look more interesting in art.
