If Dems made demand to get all kids & their caretakers out of concentration camps, grinding all Congressional business to halt plus using their massive texting lists to organize caravans to create Occupy Dilly encampment, I would give them every dollar I have. And so would many.

It's not an odd thing to say at all. She's describing a recruitment tactic, not passing judgment on their character
"They act nice" is not the same as "they are nice" and it's batshit that we're at a point where people cannot tell the difference

An answer to the D's comms problem is the base, not via GOTV stuff, but through ppl's already-existing relationships. That can be amplified by recruiting ppl into orgs that sustain it for the long haul. By meeting material needs & offering connection & joy, those orgs can attract even more people.
