Cynthia Erivo’s “No Good Deed” was stunningly performed. Where previous actors followed Menzel’s sneer, sometimes sounding petulant, Erivo’s feel like a declaration of war. Sadly, for these scenes, all they have for her visually is floating amid the chaos. It’s the weakest part of both films for me.

You know who is insanely underrated? Pastor Troy. I know he kinda got stuck being thought of as Georgia’s DMX, but everything from “We Ready” to “Universal Soldier, which is 6 records, is incredibly strong. Go back to or hear “Face Off”, I think you’ll agree.

I found the complete “In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3” trade paperback at the comic book store and for the most glaring reasons, I think its works best as an album and not as a fleshed out story. I am also incredibly impressed with it in so many other ways.
