When listening to an episode of the Command Zone, with the whole cast, I remember being introduced to the concept of a "beginning of the evening" deck: one that is better played early because of its complexities.

What is a small tip or trick you've applied to your deckbuilding that has made a huge difference?
It could be something as simple as "swap out something iffy for a land" or as specific as "don't run thought vessel in a discard deck".
