I maintain that there is a SpongeBob gif or meme for every occasion. Like this one. This is how I feel about being an American right now. I’m exhausted, heartbroken, and everything feels pretty useless. I’d like to be excused.

Only an administration intent on committing war crimes in the present and future would stoop to calling Wounded Knee a "battle" rather than what it truly was: a massacre of over 250 Lakotas, mainly women, children, and the elderly. 1/

This is becoming a dangerous gameβ€”our branches of government exist for checks and balances. Judges should not be individually targeted for doing their job. Evidence is being presented to judges, and they are making their rulings accordingly.

Hey fellow white people all over this post: while we may see and understand the depth of the performance, we can’t understand the depth of the lived experience associated with it. Stop policing a Black woman about her statement on Black art. πŸ™…πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Asshole behavior.

A Republican congressman just introduced a bill to abolish OSHA and get rid of federal safety protections for workers.

Remind meβ€” wasn’t it Republicans who claimed that they were the party of the working class?

No. If people knew what their action plans were instead of just hearing them repeating the same headlines we’ve all seen, perhaps there would be less criticism. If people don’t understand the minority process, then Dem leaders should be educating their base on what they CAN and WILL do.

Call the US government today, flood the lines and apply maximum pressure.
Demand they do their jobs, arrest Musk, and impeach Trump.

5 minutes, 5 calls, repeat. #3E

You think we’re concerned about EGGS? How about the government takeover by a billionaire private citizen who is completely unchecked? How will history remember you and your colleagues in this moment? Sitting idle and shrugging because you don’t have the majority is what’s UTTERLY ASININE.

Hey Chuck, I don’t know if you noticed but YOU CAN ALSO DO SOMETHING. Do SOMETHING instead of whining to us like we can fix it! You all were elected to DO SOMETHING.

Apparently, allowing Americans to file their tax returns for free is a bad thing. A big gift to the Big Tax lobby and a big middle finger to Americans.

Elon Musk now has access to your Social Security number. The world’s richest man has gained access to the confidential personal information of every taxpayer in the United States.

Why is no one stopping this? What is HAPPENING 😬
Elon Musk’s staffers have gained unauthorized access to sensitive government employee data by installing a server at the OPM. They now have access to USAJOBS, the federal hiring portal where applicants submit personal details such as Social Security numbers, home addresses, and employment histories.
