But remember…peaceful protestors are the real agitators.
Columbia Heights (Liam's school district) cancelled school today because of a credible bomb threat at Liam's elementary and multiple ICE vehicles parking in the high school staff parking lot at 6:15am.

Mike Johnson is going to be devastated when he pretends to learn of this for the first time from a reporter.
JUST IN: Democrats flip a red seat in the Texas Senate.

Taylor Rehmet wins against Leigh Wambsganss, a conservative activist who helped lead right-wing efforts to take over TX school boards.

With all early vote, and 95% of precincts, in, Dem up 57/43.

Trump won this seat by 17% in Tarrant County.

Wright Thompson's The Barn is one of the best non-fiction books I've read in quite some time. He writes beautifully about the Emmett Till lynching, and heroes in Mississippi and Chicago who have fought to preserve truth and memory and to ensure that what happened is never forgotten or erased.

Finished my Best in Show rewatch. Not a bad scene or wasted moment in the whole movie. Incredible cast. Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy have ridiculous chemistry.

NPR discovers “ope”
npr.org NPR @npr.org · 2d
Some use the word to apologize or point out something noteworthy. It's become a social media obsession among Michiganders, Wisconsinites, and Minnesotans alike.
Where does "ope" come from?
If you live in Michigan, it's very likely you’ve heard someone use the word “ope” more than once. But why do we say it and where does it come from?

If a news outlet doesn't condemn the Trump Administration for arresting Don Lemon and other journalists, I'm just gonna assume they're fine with it. Because you KNOW they'd be lining up like that scene in Airplane! to attack a President Harris if she so much as criticized someone at Fox News.

“Trump Sues…Demands”
“Trump Threatens”
“Trump Weighs”
“Trump Confronts”
