As the NWSL season nears, I’ve been thinking a lot about topics in media coverage. An obvious lack of funding, especially for independent coverage, makes it difficult. But there are folks in this space that want your attention/money that may not deserve it. Sadly, grifters abound in women’s sports.

A lot of loses but (and this might be harsh) only one or two that are major for the Washington Spirit.
I think we all knew Ouleye Sarr was not coming back with her SEI that kept her out the entire year. Her loss was always a major blow

Four Months.
I did a lot more reflecting this month on my choice. I think initially I was still in the bargaining stage where maybe if I kept sober the universe would bring this person back into my life. But honestly I feel better in some ways just not drinking. Though talking to girls is tougher.
