The charm and novelty is there, but Hit and Run runs out of ideas very quickly and has some truly cruel difficulty spikes. I felt this way then, I feel this way now. Its a game that really needed a sequel to build on what it was doing.

I don't think I've read a single thing with Cardiac, but I'm really glad the ML team has been dipping into the "awesomely dumb 90's designs" lately. I guess Spider-Man's breadth and popularity allows for that.

The bright side is that its easier than ever to make a game by yourself or with the help of friends on the other side of the planet.

Its not a perfect situation, but indie/self-publishing lets a lot of new voices in.

I used to think I had wide taste in games, but I don't like RTS, city builders, sports games, deck builders, soulslikes, roguelikes, idlers, runners, f2p gachas, battle royales, MOBAs, MMOs, or any game that requires you to play online with other humans.

I've mostly been playing Picross.

As someone who had Game Pass from almost day one. I personally dropped it when they ended the Games with Gold stuff a few years ago which coincided with Xbox releasing way fewer 1st party games. It seems the deal just keeps getting worse.

Yep, Sharon Carter in the SHIELD 3-pack also uses that torso, so future re-use potential is probably a consideration.

Most charitable argument is that the torso piece might be too small to fit/support the waldos if they made it butterfly.

Otherwise it means fewer pieces to produce and is cheaper.

If it makes you feel any better, literally no one will talk about the trailers after the game comes out.

Everyone will either play the game or watch some embarrassing think piece video, which will imprint its thesis/opinion onto them.

Because they were done months ago and re-releases like 7 and 8 are mostly going to be purchased during sales, something Capcom is well aware of.
