“her area of the world” is Minnesota
Trump on Ilhan Omar: "I think she's a disgraceful person. A loser. It's amazing the way people vote, I know it's people from her area of the world, they got here and they vote her in — it's hard to believe. But I think she's a disgusting person."

If you want to put back statues and memorials and names of Confederate traitors while tearing down museum exhibitions on slavery because they don't show the greatness of the nation... the nation whose history you're celebrating is whiteness. The kind of nationalist you are is a white nationalist.

“Better than being killed” NO SIR we have records of THOUSANDS of captive Africans dying by suicide by jumping overboard, starving themselves, and even a mass suicide at Igbo landing. It seems instead, cartoon Christoper Columbus, that to many death was a better fate than enslavement.
Mind you, a week ago, they partnered with PragerU, who said that slavery was “no big deal” and “better than being killed”

Fuck it. Put a reactor on the moon. Launch a nuclear submarine into the sun. Put a brown bear in charge of the Army. Let's destroy some shit.
EXCLUSIVE: Sean Duffy will announce expedited plans to build a nuclear reactor on the moon, his first major action as interim NASA administrator.

Couldn’t have happened to a better guy!

Only a man who deeply fears pornography (and the progression of human society) is dumb enough to have a nudie flick on the TV IN HIS OFFICE. It’s 2025 man! Download a VPN and watch that shit on your phone.
How it started How it’s going

That cowboy hat is trying to escape association with Markwayne Mullin.
Sen. Markwayne Mullin tried to blame former President Barack Obama for Jeffrey Epstein‘s 2008 plea deal, despite Obama not being president at the time.

As a result of rampant overuse of AI last year, I’m moving all of my AP Social Studies classes off the laptops and back to paper/notebooks during class time this year. I’m one gentle nudge away from quills and inkwells!
Keep shoving this unwanted AI shit on teachers and we’ll go back to fucking quills and inkwells
“…faculty members will be able to click an icon that connects them with various AI features…, like a grading tool, a discussion-post summarizer… Canvas’s parent company, Instructure, is also in partnership w/ OpenAI… so instructors can use generative-AI technology as part of their assignments.”

It blows my mind that in 2025 people are afraid of a “woke” ChatGPT monster that’s aware that trans people exist. There’s a LOT of things to fear as this tech learns and develops over time. The existence of marginalized populations ain’t one of them.
July 24, 2025 at 1:09 AM
Intersectionality doesn’t care about AI, we can all be viewed through it’s lens. Every human holds some extent of unconscious bias whether AI acknowledges it or not. Trans people will continue to exist, as they always have, no matter if your AI model is trained to see them. All of this is bad.
Trump's new executive order about AI states that companies' models must not incorporate the idea that trans people exist as a concept. Seems bad.

Trump: “I never wrote a picture.”
Junior: “I’ve never seen him doodle.”

Reality: Trump has basically been a semi-pro doodler for decades, and has even sold them.

One day I’ll write the story of my father being sent to the Dozier school in the late 1950s. It affected the trajectory of his life in so many awful ways. I’m lucky to have him still, but he’s a deeply broken 80 year old man because of the abuse he endured in this terrible place.

34 men who attended the notoriously abusive Dozier reform school ended up on death row later in life.

The death penalty perpetuates the cycle of abuse.
Dozens of Teens From Abusive Florida School Ended Up on Death Row
At least 34 boys from the Dozier School were later sentenced to death. Did abuse make them more violent?

“The urban elites of OKC and Tulsa” is just objectively funny. Thanks for the giggle.
The Oklahoma senator who sponsored a new law to curtail citizen initiatives said he wants to “give more Oklahomans, not just the urban elites in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, a say in what questions qualify for the ballot.” Critics question his reasoning. boltsmag.org/oklahom...
Republicans Add New Barriers to Oklahoma’s Dizzyingly Fast Process for Citizen Initiatives
A new law adds to a string of GOP-run states that have undercut direct democracy by piling on onerous new regulations and raising the threshold for signatures.
