the theme feels very repetitive after that ojisan pants drama and recent tbs kudokan drama and outdated...

yes, the world has changed, there's a positive perception for gay couples. well maybe bc of influence of drama and manga it limited only to pretty boys.
but there's some positive perception for them, and i don't see it's the same for lesbians

i can't say for sure if including a filipino woman is an anti-racist statement, but it's sure nice to see a movie where a tan girl who doesn't fit in japanese beauty standards considered extremely pretty (as she should!)
