Feels good to remind myself of things that made it out of the “never done” pile.

Most of what they try to push hard in all beginner art classes are shape relationships. For likeness I imagine it has a lot to do with that.

Having cut my own hair and shaved my partners hair for the last 6 years this is incredibly apparent when you start trying for things like tapered edges. Your mind is transported into the 4th dimension.

Given the chance, most people would tear down the world for someone they lost, and someone they love, real or not. The moral dilemma topics in Arcane s2 are exactly correct, and we see them all around us.
I only wish there had been one more episode per Act. I felt pushed along, instead of guided.

Video game/cartoon look likely uses higher saturation and medium contrast. I’m usually punching up the saturation and balancing with the contrast a bit with my renders. Blender has a free layer comp editor on the addons/extensions page I keep meaning to look at. Nomad has sliders in post-process.

Playing around using array to generate random distribution of points. Sort of like geometry nodes. Remesh and smush up a cloud thing.
Also, #3dstudy using free magneto model as ref. Hits different to have an actual 3d ref to guide. Didn’t follow exactly, need to keep it my take. #nomadsculpt

It’s also good to practice looking away from your computer every now and again. Looking across the room every 20-30min trying to focus on something farther away, it won’t fix your eyes, but it could help keep them working better a bit longer.

I’ve been keeping an eye on an expensive blender hair addon for about a year now. Hoping it will have a small markdown at some point. The price is justified in his case, but I can’t justify the expense for hobby purposes.
This was one of those moments I really questioned myself though.

I can’t think of a colorist that does classes, but Marc Brunet has some free stuff over on cubebrush.co/mb including painting. He sells a lot of stuff too, but I‘ve never bought anything, so this isn’t an endorsement, it’s just I love trying to solve these type of questions, and his YouTube is fun.
