Something I learned from a tutor at a life drawing session: if you can't decide what to study, choose anatomy or color theory (regardless of your skill level) and you won't regret it.
Personally I'd add perspective to the list, as it's often the 'last missing piece'.

Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.
I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.

I'm pretty much an outsider (and a new-comer) to my local 3d art community where anime and manga aesthetics are very dominant.
There are some who work with realistic animal sculpting or creature design, but I'm waaay outside of any of the zones atm.

This is a very interesting result. I watched CSI: Miami during my lunch break yesterday. Apparently the calming effect only happens when I watch Star Trek (still need to test it on TOS, VOY, and ENT)

I think I’ll keep sculpting Buddhist-themed sculptures a while longer before moving on to more mythical creatures and legendary figures.

It finally dawned on me that Online Visibility has less to do with popularity and more to do with searchability (the uproar of “Duhs”).
Establishing a clear direction, building a portfolio and website, and choosing a searchable name and IDs…are what's important.
Mission accomplished!

Been reducing my caffeine intake for about a month, avoiding coffee at all costs. But today, I was feeling foggy, and so unbelievably sleepy I couldn't even sit up straight while working... I finally gave in and had a café au lait. And BAM! Suddenly my mind was clear and sharp. It was scary...

I always feel a bit sad when I finish a project. But now that it's finished and out in the field, I'll focus on my ongoing animal sculpting mentorship for the rest of the year.
