While getting my psychology degree, one of the classes I took was Psychology of Terrorism. Know which terrorist organizations we talked about the most?

The United States police system and the Israeli military.

That was over 15 years ago (and it’s been happening longer). We need to break the cycle.

jk rowling funded a case going before the supreme court that argues it should be legal to discriminate against and persecute trans ppl.

yet still we have to listen to ‘centrists’ claiming she isn’t bigoted she just has ‘a difference of opinion’.

no trans ppl have a voice in these proceedings.

It's been a hot minute since I last stitched something 🫣
(Pretend those lines are straight)

Hand embroidery with various stitches practiced across the white fabric in the embroidery hoop. 3 brown vertical lines backstitched, an almond shape with a dark yellow gradient done with long and short stitch, a square with a turquoise to teal gradient, 2 red bullion stitches in different thickness, 6 dark yellow french knots in varying sizes, and one teardrop shape filled with a subtle 3D satin stitch in teal.

I constantly ruminate about embarrassing moments, but I always stop myself at "I hate myself."
Because I don't. In fact I think I'm pretty cool sometimes. I have flaws, that doesn't make me a shitty person.
There are very shitty people in the world and I'm most definitely not one of them.

I've been trying to convince myself take better care "for my mental health" but that sounds like an abstract idea that won't make me want to.
Then I thought "do it for yourself--you're a person, do it for you." And I defiantly thought "I'm not a good enough reason."
I instantly hated that thought 😬
