I’m grateful to those who were patient and kind during my harder times, whether they were aware or not. Having a loving partner and incredible support system made all the difference.

This year sucked. It’s been pure survival mode, with a lot of rebuilding - a new career, health, and community, and more - and I can only hope it’ll yield a better year.

The "Frieren angle" thing, apart from just being delightful, also completely demolishes the pathetic "AI is democratising art" argument. Someone struggling with a difficult drawing received advice from hundreds of strangers who just wanted to help them improve their art.

A lot of artists, including myself, are struggling.
It's not because we are failing; the system is failing us. A system that doesn't care about us. So we rely on those around us for support and kindness.
