yes yes!! especially when itβs hard to find a place for that *one* patch that you love, but donβt wanna wash all the time, or you wanna see it more often than when you wear a battle jacket, or maybe it doesnβt match the theme of a jacketβ¦ lots of reasons tote patches can be useful and lovely!

Here is a video of a frozen creek that had begun to thaw, and the water was flowing beneath the thin ice on top. I took this because it was soothing and wonderfully bloopy and I wanted to listen to it for hours. You are all welcome to enjoy it, too. Let your brain settle here and rest for a moment.

I get my ass into nature. I look at a tree and squirrels and whatever is growing nearby and I remind myself that these things that know nothing of our world will continue to be resilient and alive even when we are at our worst. and then I look up ways to keep my community safe, and/or make art.

I've been out of the game for quite some time and I don't mean to discourage people, but I think this is a very over glorified and oversaturated profession and not enough people are being hit over the head with the realities of how hard it is to succeed without secondary income.
Donβt know who needs to hear this but stop quitting your job to do artist alley and conventions, there are no benefits or health insurance and it is so unpredictable and the competition is worse than trying to get into Harvard lol
