Now just a minute here.

So this guy was a vice-provost at Penn, and dropped that position because he couldn’t speak truthfully on matters of science in that role at Penn. But he’s staying on, at Penn.

Seems to me that if this is how Penn operates then everything about it is poisoned.

Anyway, this game is quite rich in historical and political context. It can be played solo, as well, and my guess is that I will end up doing that, as the chances of getting any of my local friends interested are about 0

Notably, it is produced by GMT Games, perhaps loosely but best defined as a wargames company. They make many historical games based on combat large and small, to include a game about conflicts arising in the wake of the Reformation, to Twilight Struggle, a game about Cold War-era machinations.
