#Dispatch devs have no interest in using AI for game development 🎮

"AI feels like a production solution, not a creative one. Maybe it's a creative one if you aren't creative"

To to get back to my original point (I had one, I swear). The problem with this is that once that law is in there, even if it's not enforced, it will *stay* in there because no party will want to be the one to open up the Pandora's Box of rooting out all the various bad laws. Needs to be stopped now

Almost as if there has been a steady escalation of money in politics, huh? Money the big parties really don't want to tell everyone the sources of. That's not conspiracy, it's a desire for transparency. But I digress. It's no surprise to me that young and disenfranchised voters turn to populists.

Yeah and that's what "efficiency reforms" always end up doing. Creating fewer boxes people have to fit into, while punishing those who fall in-between. Many times, I'm sure case workers know what is needed in order to help someone, but their hands are tied by the political decisions

Odense, I got flex in 2019, after a stress breakdown in 2014. Took them 5 years to realize that I wasn't making it back. And even so, I was so lucky because a) I had an offer from a company I'd been in placed in and b) two case workers who told me exactly what the papers need to say to get approved.

The fact that they keep defaulting to: "No, I don't agree with" or "I see it differently" when presented with facts by reporters is a giant red flag to me. Like when they are presented with how many people their benefits reform has just made homeless, they can't even acknowledge it. It's all spin.

That's what I really dislike about our current breed of polician. Even the ones who don't seem like rabid right-wingers will still go out of their way to avoid taking any responsibility for anything. They cannot bring themselves to say "We were wrong on that" or to denouce racist policies.

BF was actually a great game once you peeled back the layers of EA corporate interference. It's a game that's been overshadowed by the infamy of its sequel, but ya'll did good work. As usual, corporate didn't understand a dang thing

Hi, we did this in Denmark a few years ago during a supposedly liberal government and even the guy who was PM at the time has now come out to say it was pointless symbolic politics to get racist votes. Does that mean the current government has gotten rid of it? Of course not! Do not let this happen!
The Sun has been told Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood will on Monday propose confiscating jewellery, watches, necklaces from asylum seekers to meet asylum costs

This reflects the most controversial aspect of the Danish scheme - the Jewellery Law. The toughest Labour MPs thought this was OTT
This is a really remarkable video essay on contemporary film and the theories of Laura Marks. It's making me think about movies in a new way.

Very scary prospect indeed 😔
Alanah’s videos are always worth watching, but this one is an absolute must

Gamers, you really need to watch this. Because gaming and the games industry is about to become *so* much worse than we ever feared.
Here’s my breakdown of EA’s pending sale… to Saudi Arabia… and why this is much, much bigger than video games. I’m late to this from a ‘news’ perspective obviously, but it’s because I worked on this video for about a month.

Lol, nope failed that hard.

So, Steam Machines are back. Biggest concern I have is that they only ship with 8GB of VRAM. This is already being exceeded in games running at 1080p, and I'm thinking most people will hook a Steam Machine up to a 4k TV. 12GB should be the minimum, 16GB would ensure longevity and a smooth experience

In your opinion, are there certain UE5 settings games should just avoid, regardless of genre? I think Embark made the right call for ARC Raiders, but thinking back to the Witcher 4 tech demo, I positively dread what the performance will be, given the amount of prestige UE5 features on display.

AI *is* horseshit. It's the world's most elaborate pyramid scheme, except this time it's only for tech bro billionaires.
