Yeah new Expedition 33 interview was out. The generated texture was just part of them experimenting with GenAI when it was brand new years ago when they were first starting working on the game. They didn’t like it, said “it felt wrong”, stopped using it, and a single texture from that got missed.

Like, I *could* get mad over the fact that they're making more movies in a series that got a proper conclusion 15 years ago,
or I could save our breath by just ignoring it, not seeing it, and moving on with my life.
