the beauty of being in school is that i am watching everyone return back to their jobs after the holidays and meanwhile i will continue to spend my winter break reading by the river and going on long walks

never mind. can't figure out how to rhyme "weyr" and "feyr" in modern english
just translated a section of Sir Gowther for an essay i’m writing and was able to keep the original rhyme scheme intact for the modern english. small victories

i’ve deleted almost all social media apps from my phone + youtube (barring bluesky obv but i treat this more like a notes app than anything else) and so much of my evening is now spent calling/texting people as opposed to mindlessly scrolling, so that’s a win, i guess
