As someone who has read this for the first time recently, Its very interesting what Darvill-Evans can do with the knowledge from editing the range. Also, it's a great book with an interesting setup however the villain is mediocre.
Annoyingly, I had Daak's return spoiled by the legal page

It set up something that should have been the dynamic for Capaldi all along.

Instead of the "Am I a good Malcolm Tucker tribute act?" of S8, we have a Doctor who is much more cosier yet aloof. Never mind a UNIT family, I wish we had more of the Uni family & the season using the Uni as a base more!
