Mickey deserves to be shoved under the bus several times but it’s curious that CBS has no problem exposing a black woman’s ugliness, but works overtime to create a fairy tale out of a “showmance” with a disgusting, volatile man who’s coercing his “future wife” & yells at other houseguests

All of the lessons that The Biggest Loser taught—from disordered eating to ruthless self talk—all of that came because we culturally thought it was beneficial & entertaining to abuse fat people. Anti-fat bigotry was the spoonful of sugar that helped the medicine go down. It was a feature, not a bug.
