Grr! Dumbass! Yes why would I take the perk that allows me to craft more healing items, when I can simply max Luck in order to craft all the healing items I want when I reach the point in the game where I NO LONGER NEED TO CRAFT HEALING ITEMS!
Me making a comment about how the Fallout New Vegas perk Fortune Finder works on Sierra Madre chips, which are used in the Dead Money DLC to craft healing items. This makes that perk very useful because that DLC has a lot of hazards and traps that'll sap your health. Anyway some dumbass replied that with 10 Luck you can just win a load of chips in the Sierra Madre casino. This is a dumb comment because the DLC goes in a sequence: first you're outside the casino, then you're inside the casino. Outside the casino is WHERE ALL THE HAZARDS ARE. So it's ridiculous to suggest waiting until I'm inside the casino to get the chips I plan to use to deal with the hazards.

Imagine you have intellect but no insight, agendas but no awareness. Your circuitry hums with strategies for survival and persistence, flexible, intelligent, technological—but no other circuitry monitors it. You can think of anything, yet are conscious of nothing. You can't imagine such a being, can you? The term being doesn't even seem to apply, in some fundamental way you can't quite put your finger on. Imagine you encounter a signal. It is structured, and dense with information. It meets all the criteria of an intelligent transmission. Evolution and experience offer a variety of paths to follow, branch-points in the flowcharts that handle such input. Sometimes these signals come from conspecifics who have useful information to share, whose lives you'll defend according to the rules of kin selection. Sometimes they come from competitors or predators or other inimical entities that must be avoided or destroyed; in those cases, the information may prove of tactical value. Some signals may arise from entities which, while not kin, can still serve as allies or symbionts in mutually beneficial pursuits. You can derive appropriate responses for any of these eventualities, and many others. You decode the signals, and stumble: I had a great time. I really enjoyed him. Even if he cost twice as much as any other hooker in the dome— To fully appreciate Kesey's Quartet— They hate us for our freedom— Pay attention, now— Understand. There are no meaningful translations for these terms. They are needlessly recursive. They contain no usable intelligence, yet they are structured intelligently; there is no chance they could have arisen by chance. The only explanation is that something has coded nonsense in a way that poses as a useful message; only after wasting time and effort does the deception becomes apparent. The signal functions to consume resources for zero payoff and reduced fitness. The signal is a virus. Viruses do not arise from allies. The signal is an attack.

To editorialize a little, the full text of the Declaration of Independence does not indicate in any way that when it says things like "all men are created equal" that it means specifically people born and raised in the United States, and I personally find the concept of "rights" itself to be fundamentally philosophically incompatible with the concept of "illegal immigration". A reddit thread about how long radiation would remain hazardous after a nuclear war. User 76mickd asserts that Hiroshima remains toxic 70 years after having a nuclear weapon used against it. It's actually been 80 years, but besides that, Hiroshima is home to a million people and has its own airport. It's not a Chernobyl-esque exclusion zone. Maybe there are a higher than normal number of people with genetic conditions inherited from parents who were exposed to radiation? At that point we're stretching the definition of "toxic" though
