I guess we‘re moving but our progress is being slowed by the zombie idea that we can “make Brexit work“.*
*“work” defined as “make us better, or at least no worse off, than we were before”. Brexit failed to clear even this modest bar. It was just a bad idea, not a reasonable idea executed badly.

People voted to make the UK more prosperous & influential.
They were told this could be done by making it harder to trade & cooperate with the group of countries which are physically closest to the UK & constitute our biggest market.
