Note the horn-like ridges on the monster's head. Those came from an early make-up design that wasn't used. Guess the poster artist was using stills of that as a reference.

It's awesome/funny you included Who Goes There?. The first time I read it was in an anthology called They Came from Outer Space devoted to stories that were later filmed.

Happy Halloween! Crown jewels of my horror comics collection; a bootleg repro of Marvel Tales #93 and an actual copy of Suspense #7; the first non-comedic appearance of Dracula in comics. A fun read, even if it's just a ripoff of Bloch's 'Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper" with Drac insteada Jack.

Godzilla and Pabst have a challenger; Jason Voorhees and Angry Orchard. Part of me wants to save this for an actual Friday the 13th, the other wants to chug this rn while listening to Manfredini's disco opener from part three.

Been busy af this Spooky Season thanks to MediCal bullshit, but there have been a few fun spots, like these new Godzilla-themed Pabst cans. I don't really consider kaiju to be Halloween monsters the same way vampires are, but it's the thought that counts. Shoulda been Sapporo though.
