Chilling. But a necessary read.
With the Insurrection Act looming, now is the time to learn how it might unfold and the strategic ways to respond — including the power of ridicule, writes @daniel-hunter.bsky.social.
What to do if the Insurrection Act is invoked?

This vote was to start the process of the cuts. It WILL come back for a final vote.

There are some chances to slow or potentially stop it. Need constant pressure on GOP

Focus on GOP swing seats & key committees. Energy & Commerce is where the Medicaid fight will go down. Ways&Means for tax fight.
@aoc.bsky.social
Please explain what just happened. Is there no way to stop this w the reconciliation to be used by GOP to get around the filibuster? Are we sunk?

Excellent reporting and insight into the latest bs
“The 5 bullets email was the administration’s declaration of psychological warfare: Petty on its face and lacking sufficient instructions, its one and only purpose was to scare the shit out of workers already living in peril.”
Move fast and break people
For Elon Musk's government, the psychological warfare is the point.

It's annoying how clearly this is going to play out.

They gut the FAA.
Therefore, the FAA can't do its job well because it was gutted.
Therefore, they say "The FAA sucks, we have to privatize it." which is what Project 2025 wants to do. They're manufacturing the crises for their end goal.

There are good arguments here on how to weaken/stop Musk. #holdtheline #protectdemocracy
This Is the Way to Stop Elon Musk
Senate Democrats have the power to block federal contracts to Tesla and SpaceX. It’s the path to pushing Musk out of politics.
