I know firsthand what a few extra days can mean to a working family just trying to get by. This bill will help keep families safely in their homes, avoiding eviction. This isn’t a partisan issue — it’s about taking care of our neighbors and extending a little grace to those in need.

Virginia’s federal workforce — one of the largest in the nation — doesn’t owe Elon Musk a thing. His firings and threats of further layoffs will have tremendous impacts in Virginia and we have an obligation to stand up and say enough is enough. Nobody elected Elon Musk.

Jennifer and I are thrilled to announce the birth of baby girl, Olivia Elizabeth Rouse. Olivia arrived this morning weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces, bringing immense joy and love to our family. Both mother and baby are doing well and we’re appreciative for the care received at Sentara Princess Anne.
