In the case of hemochromatosis, the iron is there but not used. Bloodletting is a treatment to this day.

I suspect some women experience chlorosis with period-related iron loss.
The Menstrual Cycle and Vision: The Eye is a Gender Specific and Hormonally Sensitive Target Organ
The menstrual cycle is an integral component of life for most women, and it exerts its influence for a major portion of their lives. Much research has been directed to the hormonal changes across the ...

Low iron can also be related to restless legs, a chicken and egg situation. Iron is a cation with a positive charge. Chloride is an anion with a negative charge.
Changes in iron metabolism during prolonged repeated walking exercise in middle-aged men and women
The aim of the present study was to assess the effect of prolonged and repeated exercise on iron metabolism in middle-aged adults and to compare differences between sexes. 50 male (58.9 ± 9.9 year) and 48 female (50.9 ± 11.2 year) individuals were ...

Say when :)

The Green Children of Woolpit is a 12th century story mentioning chlorosis in the classic sense, "green sickness". Modern medical literature calls it hypochromic anemia, assumed to be an iron deficiency in this case. The girl said she was from a dark place where everything was green.

A known genetic disorder diagnosed by a chloride sweat test is cystic fibrosis. An important part of treatment for cystic fibrosis is pancreatic enzymes. There may be a connection between chloride transport and other cystic conditions. Contact dermatitis and psoriasis, also.

Details in the ALT, but in this book dancing plague is common to people with red colorblindness who enjoy having the soles of their feet beaten. Also, bloated stomach (timpani). They clearly believed it was a type of epilepsy, but I think the "oppression of breath" is important.

I am deep in the rabbit hole on this, but I will post links from my research until you ask me to stop if you want. If I convince you of anything, we can enjoy a "shared delusion", no AI involved. (No method I use is a replacement for medication!)

I know we share the "jelly of the universe" vision, and I trust my instincts on this now. Strain really can make a difference. (Relief may be related to TRP ion channels, TRPV1 and TRPA1.) It's a tough time of year for sensitive people. I hope you and yours are safe and warm.

I went to Windsor for NYE '01 and was waived through without being carded. Started going again for shopping and lunch with an enhanced DL in '14 and there was flash photography from every angle, invasive questioning, and our car was searched in both directions on the third trip.

there are a few different ones, but two common types are IGe mediated and IGg mediated.

Should have no trouble with that as it is 75 degrees in here. (Still -5 outside, up from -18.)

What we eat is the number one way to control ion flow. The ancestors built their diets so carefully, their medicine tailored to their heritage and season. Temple diets, yoga, and tai chi also influential.

This article was really useful for managing chronic pain.
Herbal Compounds and Toxins Modulating TRP Channels
Although the benefits are sometimes obvious, traditional or herbal medicine is regarded with skepticism, because the mechanism through which plant compounds exert their powers are largely elusive. Recent studies have shown however that many of these ...

and if you think those articles are not about human health, you're right, but also there are not a lot of modern studies recognizing classic Greek chlorosis. Most of my quests end with battery schematics.

Do young men even go to the Windsor Ballet now?

I bought import records and video games with a belly full of poutine regularly c. 2014. Camera flashes from every angle were at near seizure levels. Car was searched coming and going on the third trip.
