We back Rep. Chavez’s call for all law enforcement agencies, including the Farmington Police Department, cease cooperation with ICE.

Albuquerque DSA is proud to have endorsed Rep. Chavez and we stand by her criticisms of ICE. ICE has been out of control, kidnapping community members from hospital beds and terrorizing families in their schools, workplaces, and homes. ICE is beyond reformation and must be abolished.

New Mexico's economy is a fraction of the size of New York City's.

If they can enact universal childcare — and relieve working families of a crushing cost burden — surely we can too.

It's just a question of political will.
New Mexico will be the first state to make child care free
The program, which is expected to save families $12,000 per child annually, is available to all residents regardless of income.

This Labor Day, Albuquerque DSA proudly stood alongside labor and community groups in our opposition to Trump's pro billionaire, anti worker agenda! Only an organized movement of the working class can stop fascism.

Last night, the Republican majority on the Albuquerque Land Use Committee voted down proposals for tenant protections and expanding safe outdoor spaces. The MAGA agenda isn’t interested in solving the homeless crisis, but instead wants to use it to fear monger for expanded police presence.

Want to see a win like Zohran's in New Mexico? Join DSA!

Like NYC, large sections of the Dem establishment here wants to collaborate with Trump and Republicans rather than deliver for the working class. We want to put a stop to that.

Democratic Socialists of America seek to democratically transform our society and reject vigilante violence. We condemn the murder of Israeli embassy workers. Any statement otherwise is not the stance of DSA.
