Interesting that Trump’s economic approval has fallen to basically the worst of his career and his overall approval is right around where it always is. Maybe the entire phenomenon isn’t actually about the economy? Or maybe there’s much further to fall if / when things get worse. We’re gonna find out

As a faculty member at the medical school, I have not yet received any communication about this and am really hoping it’s not true.
Otherwise it’s beyond disappointing and so very wrong.

The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025.
This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.
