Thanks so much for these references. Really helpful. Do you think it is plausible that this face = acoustics relationship could be gradient? Within caucasian faces, is it possible to think about difference in perceptibility if one is to create instances of faces that are kinda mixed?

#phonetician friends, what's the phenomenon when a speaker is not expected to speak a language and despite close to native pronunciation, native speakers mishear them? Or ask them to repeat themselves.
