Bitch on Wheels – Disabled Is Not the Same as Elderly
Are people with disabilities, small children, elderly, teenagers, regular adults? The truth is that we are all of the above. But many people want to lump us together in some category. Available on Ally and Activist tiers or one-time purchase.

Let Brown Community Grieve Without Conspiracies

Four people have died, 9 people were injured, and communities have been left to grieve the losses. Still, there has been a lot of finger pointing and the whole event has been politicized.

Inclusion or Exclusion in Extracurricular Activities?

Who Is Left to Defend Disability Rights?
After the Orange-Faced Monster took office, the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice was essentially gutted leaving only about 300 attorneys for all civil rights defense. Attorneys left or were reassigned.

This is a longstanding problem. It makes me feel sorry for the TSA miracles that they have such a need to think we are privileged. Maybe that's their disability?
it sucks that some people will fake a disability but it doesn't suck nearly as much as the idea that every disabled person should have to be on-call 24/7 to prove their disability to every miserable self-appointed robocop who sees them in public and thinks "i bet they don't need that wheelchair"

Bitch on Wheels - Respect?

Why do people insist on treating adults with disabilities as children or puppies? I’m tired of being petted, called dear or honey, and treated as though I am not capable of anything. This is going to be an “I’m tired” kind of episode.

For crying out loud! It's a big deal to change a font? My goodness! Let's all insist on Ariel no TimesNewRoman. People with dyslexia have an easier time reading it. Or, is that their point? Prevent access?
Disability activism is not a bad thing! Don't let them change the words to mean something else
The US secretary of state says the ‘wasteful’ switch from Times New Roman pandered to disability activism

Whether due to racism, sexism, or ableism, violence is increasing in this country, reaching down into our schools. Let’s do something about all these isms. Who will start? The federal government? States? Cities? Schools? Parents? Maybe all of us?

I have occasionally talked about what gives me hope in today’s distressing times. Now, I have one more thing. The generosity of everyday Americans. Remember - there are more of us than there are billionaires.

Still working on solving the car entry problem for Kirby, the Super Service Dog. He is healthy, runs and jumps after tennis balls with no problem at all, but has developed a hesitation to jumping onto the seat in the van. Maybe a simple solution will work? Available on the Member tier.

When will people learn that caving in to a bully – in this case the Orange-Faced Monster – only results in them demanding more? The US Senate traded healthcare for food, or at least they think they did. I’m lucky to be a Rhode Islander.
