This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

How could a slavery scandal involving the President of the United States be worse than we thought? This extremely long, extremely detailed, and fully sourced PROOF report explains.

This—not the tariff war—is the most important story in America right now. I hope you will consider checking it out.
The Trump-El Salvador Scandal Deepens
As President Trump prepares to fête brutal far-right El Salvadoran dictator Nayib Bukele in DC on April 14, the scandal involving a vile new international slave trade between the two men is growing.

If you have any doubt about where we are, the DoJ has suspended one of its top attorneys because he admitted in court that the government’s deportation of Abrego Garcia wasn’t supported by any evidence he’d been provided by the administration.

You can’t tell the truth if you work for this bunch.

UPDATE: ICE is wildly unconcerned about where this man is and no one will tell me, his registered attorney. The universal answer so far is "let's wait and see where he ends up." This is deeply off.

We would have more rights at this point if UPS had lost a pair of shoes I'd just bought from Zappos
My detained client was scheduled for a bond hearing this AM in a MA immigration court. He wasn't brought in, and he and his case have disappeared.

I then received this notice of activity on a nonexistent docket in which his name was changed to "N/A"

It's all happening a lot faster than I expected

If Trump can claim a "national emergency" to disappear legal residents without due process, what’s to stop him from doing the same to U.S. citizens who oppose him?

No one is safe — not even people legally in the country, possibly not even American citizens.

Fascism is here.

Can we stop calling these atrocities "deportations." These people sold to El Salvadorian prisons were not deported. Deportation is a process that did not take place. They were rounded up and removed with no process. They were kidnapped, not deported.

She also clashed with DOGE over plans for IRS's future & orders to cut staff.

It’s a month since the administration detained and disappeared a green card holder, a lawful permanent resident.

We cannot allow this to be normalized or forgotten.

A federal judge ruled that the Trump White House must admit the AP's journalists to news events - ruling its exclusion was "unlawful."

Almost two hours later, two AP journalists were rejected from the WH pool to cover a Trump speech.

Judge orders White House to allow AP access to news events
U.S. Judge Trevor N. McFadden rules the White House cannot deny the Associated Press access to news events because the wire service continues to use "Gulf of Mexico" rather than "Gulf of America".

So going after students that are here legally, huh? Slippery slope, my friends. Wonder who’s next?
Eleven Texas A&M international students have had their visas unexpectedly terminated in a federal database, part of a larger Trump administration action that has revoked visas of over 300 international students nationwide in the past three weeks.
Eleven Texas A&M international students might have quietly lost their ability to stay in the U.S.
The Trump administration has said it has revoked the visas of more than 300 international students across the country in the last three weeks.
