I've been radio silent because I'm in the process of standing up an app.bsky.* API server (aka app-view aka Barnes & Nobles). This is an expensive and time intensive operation that I didn't want to do until it was necessary.
It's a fail-safe not a differentiator in experience, but important 7/11

Consider it from the perspective of user stories: What are the intended uses/outcomes for an “app”. Who are the users? Are their needs met?

Everything else is a deployment detail.

It's an ad hominem. Instead of policy, Harrell can only think of personal attacks. It shows lack of character and that the current mayor of Seattle is a petty bully.

Vote Wilson. The alternative is a 12 year old.

I think the term "contagion" does a disservice to the coordinated attack that's going on. Many scholars seem too siloed to be aware of history or global politics. Domino theory enabled by mob bosses seems a lot more applicable.

The whole point is an arbitrary standard for "purity" that can be wielded to maintain power.

Note that Native Americans and Black people have been in the US a lot longer than the average European, and the powers that be will try to erase those histories as part of this effort.
