As a UVU alumni, I am disgusted that this act of violence and murder of Charlie Kirk occured on ground that is sacred to me. Ground where I learned the value of debate. Of talking and listening. I may not have agreed with Charlie, but he nor his family deserve this.

I took a break from writing yesterday. Not burnt out. Just did it. I think, too often, we wait until we are on the verge of burn out before taking a break and then never feel rested afterwards. Take breaks. Don't push too hard. Be kind to yourself. :)

I was with my mom yesterday and we were talking about gyros and how good they are. And how some idiots pronounce it jy-ro. Literally right then a Tesla with temporary plates parked and I said, that guy probably pronounces it like that.

We had a good chuckle.
