I have been refunded but a further £42.51 was deducted based on electricity used between 24/2/21 & 4/3/21. Backbilling after 12 mths is in breach of Ofgem’s Backbilling rules of the Energy UK Code of Practice. I pay via direct debit so any errors in payment are due to your processes or errors.

@octopus.energy still waiting for my refund. Now 23 days since I switched and 18 days since your final bill. I was told you didnt hold my dd details 🤷‍♀️ odd as a) no contact to ask for it and b) I’ve been paying by dd for 2 yrs. #poorservice #stalling beaching @ofgem.gov.uk standard of perf.

Thanks I appreciate your help although I find it sad that social media seems the best way to get companies to jump in order to avoid negative publicity. Glad it’s getting sorted though.

This has been sent - however judging by the lack of response from both your customer service and issue resolution departments I’m not holding my breath for a reply. I will be contacting Ofgen though
