As someone who camps at Yosemite a few times every year... this is frustrating. And so pointless.

The reservation system is shut down, EMT personnel are gone, so don't get hurt or lost. No one can clean the bathrooms or cabins, so they'll be closed. Rangers are fired.

I'm currently on the fringe of the Olympic National Park/Forest. So it's obv all a big deal.

Once, Hunter shaved his head completely while running for sheriff of Aspen, so he could call his opponent a "long-haired freak," in response to the incumbent sherriff's anti-hippie view. HST wasn't an awesome dude, but I loved his political perspective.
