Apparently Guillermo Del Toro has ruined Frankenstein by… being relatively faithful to the source material.

My small human now waves at everyone it's their favorite thing. Unfortunately they have not learned that the people on the TV can't wave back.
This is apparently very frustrating.

If someone tries to gift my kid with a toy powered by AI. I'm burning it. I'll be nice and lie to you about it but no way in hell am I letting my kid near that thing.

My work mom sends me a motivational and/or heartwarming message every day. I respond with the most unhinged gif that I can find relating to it.

I cannot overstate the importance of reading books, particularly novels by respected authors, for critical thinking skills and reading comprehension. If the big gun novelists don't interest you, start small and work your way up. Or read whatever interests you. Just read. Or listen. It's all books.

I feel like I'm a scientist in a disaster movie who spent years trying to warn people of the impending disaster. Only nobody listened. And now that the disaster is upon us, the authorities are like "Yo, smarty-pants, what should we do about this here disaster?"

And I'm like: "THE FUCK DO I KNOW?"

Hey honest question and this might not be a generational thing. But do some generations not think to ask a clarifying question or are they embarrassed too? It seems to be a trend with a certain age group of coworkers where they'll over/under do a task unnecessarily which could have been avoided.

My coworker in her early 20's will frequently hand me her dating app to get second opinions on the men she's matched with. So far I have steered her away from many many red flags
I have never been happier that I met my partner before the rise of dating apps. It's rough out there!
