Adventure seeker fueled by wanderlust and a love for two wheels. Prefers the road less traveled—usually because it's covered in mud, rocks, and a healthy dose of questionable judgment. Why take the easy path when the off-road one makes for better stories?

It may be worth reminding everyone that, on this social network (unlike the more musky one that it imitates), likes have essentially zero effect on a post's visibility: only reposts do.

If a post is worth sharing with others, you should repost it: a like just shows private support to the author.

In a few days, the annual Saudi Sportswashing Extravaganza begins. I used to love the Dakar Rally - seems like such an adventure, and the visuals are stunning - but I stopped watching when it moved to Saudi Arabia. It is being staged to distract from the fact SA is a brutal and murderous regime.
Highest execution toll in decades as Saudi authorities put to death 198 people
Despite repeated promises to limit the use of the death penalty, Saudi authorities have ramped up executions.

20 years ago we were suing teenagers for millions of dollars because they were torrenting a single Metallica album and now billionaires are demanding the free right to every work in history, so that they can re-sell it.

The law only ever serves capital.

MotoGP, KTM: too many acquisitions, origin of the crisis, but MotoGP won't be touched
MotoGP: On February 25th, we'll know whether the restructuring plan is accepted, but everything is ready for the team presentations, winter tests, and the first Grand Prix.

Can also recommend taking a one day adventure riding course. Gives you way more confidence off-road, especially if you have a heavy bike. And a great way to meet a few people to ride dirt with.

Reason #62 to ride on dirt roads: usually tighter curves so slower speeds still provide lots of fun while reducing potential for injuries. Also a much reduced chance of encountering other traffic.
