It feels like I drew an insane amount this year, in spite of everything. More importantly, I feel like I had a lot more FUN drawing this year than I have in the past. The comprehension castle 2 image set is probably the thing this year that I had the most fun making. It was one of my biggest projects of the year, but somehow not once did it feel like a drag. I was playing and frolicking through the whole thing. I hope all of my future projects feel like that lol

Rumor has it that if you get the highest possible grade in every class in Comprehension Castle, then boot up the game after 11:00 PM, there's a secret bonus class that's like an entire second game (1/15)
drawing made to look like a screenshot of a fictional 90s edutainment game. the fake screenshot shows the curriculum book from Comprehension Castle part 1, only it's dark now, and all the classes have a large 'A+' rank next to them. There's a scrap of lined notebook paper in the corner, highlighted, which has 'Bonus!!' written on it, accompanied by a doodle of Myrrh giving a peace sign. The titular castle from Comprehension Castle part 1 now has a massive, sprawling playground rising out of the center, stretching so high that it goes offscreen. Myrrh, standing outside the castle, greets the player: 'Welcome to my secret playground! It only appears at night, to people who've passed ALL their classes!' 'There are all kinds of games we can play here!' Myrrh continues, 'But there are three really awesome games hidden in the playground for you to find! Think you can find all three of them and beat my high scores before the sun comes up?' As she speaks, a thought bubble appears showing three brightly-colored, bizarrely-shaped arcade machines with bright, glowing screens. Myrrh leads the player into an indoor playground, to a giant shelf of shoes near a ball pit. It's dark, and no one else is around. 'You're supposed to take your shoes off here, but I never do,' says Myrrh, gesturing towards the shelf. 'Mostly cause I don't wear any. Do whatever you want! Take a shoe, leave a shoe. Nobody's been here in ages. Hurry up! I wanna go play!'

Did a little trick or treating thing over on tumblr; here's a thread of all the 'treats' I handed out to people.

Whenever I make food, I give myself a little more than you.' 2 nearly-identical bowls of food sit next to each other. one of them is labeled '5% less'. Panel 3: Vae, completely unbothered, says: 'That's fine. I mean, you're the one who made it. You can have a little more.' Panel 4: Caelle, sobbing, tears and snot running down her crinkled face, wails: 'I've been depriving you of nutrients for over a century... I'm basically intrinsically evil!!' Vae, offscreen, replies: 'Caelle, you are a foot taller than me, your body needs more calories than mine. I have to give you my leftovers half the time anyway cause I can't finish it all. Stop crying.'

Becoming Unscared 101
Myrrh pointing to the 'spiraling over nothing' drawing I posted earlier and exclaiming 'HEY!!! Too many of you are relating to this and it's bumming me out!!! We have to do something about this!' Looking altogether too proud of themself, Myrrh continues: 'Fortunately for us, I'm basically an expert at getting so so scared. So here are my 3 awesome tips for when I'm freaking out and need to trick myself into being unscared' The next panel shows a doodle of Myrrh breathing cartoonishly deeply. The narration reads: 'Tip #1: You can take a deep breath or two. Everybody knows this one and I can feel you all rolling your eyes at me so I won't explain this one but it really does help ok' The next panel shows a doodle of furniture in a bedroom, each labeled with a material it's made of (e.g. metal, wood, paper, fabric). The narration reads: 'Tip #2: You can look around at all the stuff in the room, and mentally list what everything is made of. I don't remember where I learned this one, but it's a great way to distract yourself for just long enough to calm down.'
