Born #onthisday in 1574, the great occult philosopher Robert Fludd. Pictured here, his image of the “spiritual brain”.

I think it’s SO cool what one can find online, such as these 1966 photos on the 20th Century Fox Television lot when Billy Mumy and Angela Cartwright from Lost in Space ran into Burt Ward, in costume from Batman. Both series were in production in 1966, and Mumy was clearly a fan.

Well, I was a kid in 1966, but didn’t read comics. My parents didn’t allow it, so why’s Mom giving me this dollar?

Anyway, maybe BATMAN, because I’d have known about the TV show.

If I had my current mind, though, SUGAR & SPIKE all the way.
Another hard question post! You're a kid in 1966 and your mom gives you one whole dollar to send in for a DC comics subscription, which are you getting??

Batman & Robin are “Caged By The Cat-Woman”, in this 1966 Topps trading card with art by Bob Powell & Norman Saunders. There’s something both unexpected & hilarious about Selina “Catwoman” Kyle being an evidently expert bricklayer. But her skills have, quite obviously, come in handy.
