So angry for the people in Gaza, once again living in constant fear as Israel violates the ceasefire and resumes its massacres of families yet again.
When I heard news of the latest so-called ceasefire, I watched celebrations with a pit in my stomach. How could Israel be trusted for a second? Of course, I'm not judging Palestinians. Even while knowing Israel better than anyone, any human in their situation would welcome a minute to breathe.

A real ceasefire won't come until Israeli impunity ends. Consequences for genocide must be severe or else. What does anyone think will happen in a world where genocide goes unchecked and unpunished?

This is so absurd. NOT standing against mass murder, cruelty, and gen0cide is what should be shamed but instead it's writing sweet books for kids and fighting for the safety and rights for all children that gets you in trouble in this country.

The Sumud flotilla may not have succeeded in breaking the siege but it did succeed in bringing hope to decent people everywhere, and most importantly, people in Gaza who were reminded that many people not only care but are willing to sacrifice their lives to help end the cruelty and injustice.

We just had our first grant terminated. This was a U19 AViDD grant (grants.nih.gov/grants/guide...). It was set to end next month, although many in the consortia were hoping for NCEs.
